The end of LulzSec

Hi people of the internet!
Recently there has been talk of LulzSec disbanding. The official reason from LulzSek is that their “planned 50 day cruise”  has ended, and now they take shore leave. Police forces around the world claim that the group is going into hiding because the search for the real identity of the hackers is going so well. Either way… the internet’s will be a little safer, less chaotic and less lulzy in future.

For those of you, who have no idea of what I’m taking about, heres a quick review;
LulzSec is a hacker group that has caused chaos in the internet for the last 50 days.  Some of the Sites they hacked where Sonny, Bioware, Sonny Pictures, various police and military servers, Bethesda..

Although wait a sec, funny story here;
LulzSec Hacked Bethesda, but didn’t steal anything. Instead they left a note saying “…We actually like this company and would like for them to speed up the production of Skyrim, so we’ll give them one less thing to worry about. You’re welcome!”

So yea, lets see where the Internet goes from now..
See you next time!

p.s. The German media has nooooo clue about the internet. The last two Report I read abou LulzSec in Germany media claimed that Lulsek Is the ”militant arm ofanonymous” – Spiegel, and that the official logo of Lulzsek is Nyan cat - Handelsblatt

Spice Pirates

Hi girls and guys!
It’s great to be back! It´s even better to be back with good news!
“Spice Pirates” is coming out soon for the Windows 7 phone. I am part of the 3man Programming team of the game, and we´ve been working overtime to get the job done, before the ‘unreasonably’ early release date our Producer is aiming for. The first releases will we be an exploration game in which you navigate your ship around a ocean of sand, harassing traders and fighting other pirates.
The 2nd version will come out a later, and will have tows, cities upgrades etc..

You can see more pictures, concepts and the progress on our facebook page!

UK Developer 4J Studios Working On Minecraft XBLA

You might have heard that Markus 'Notch' Persson sold his sandbox game, Minecraft, to Micosoft.
Now Notch has just confirmed it via Twitter, 4J Studios is the studio that will be bringing out the game for  Xbox Live Arcade later this year. Although many are calling it a corporate sellout, I’m happy for the fellow! Its everyone’s dream to make money with the things you love.
So congratulation Notch! Hope that 4J dont ruin the game!

Electronic Arts turns a deaf ear to Fans and Employees

EA, one of the world’s leading video game publishers, was one of the first companies to offer DLC (Downloadable Content).  And It looks like they’re going to stick with this Idea in Battlefield 3, even though the fans think it’s a really bad Idea. Here is the poll;

So, on the one hand game developers and publishers should follow their Ideas . After all they have studied or learned their jobs and been in the industry for years. You wouldn’t give your dentist tips and which tooth he should pull. But when it comes to games, everybody thinks their Ideas are the right way to go.
But EA should still be careful about ignoring the mainstream public. If the DLC makes the game imbalanced, chances are it will never be a hit… which is probably what they’re going for (I hope at least).

Read a post yesterday that made me quite happy! Theres rumorors that “TimeSplitters” will be continued! Theres a huge fanbase, and no one really knows why “Crytek UK” (originally called “Free Radical Design”) stoped producing the games. Anyhow, If you haven’t checked the games out, go for it! I spent a lot of great time with it!
